E-Readers with Color Open Door for Pictures
It has been better to read with colorful illustrations rather than the traditional black and white print. In December 15, 2010, iBook with colorful illustrations and photographs were announced to be available in public. This mostly features children’s book, cookbook and photography books. The publishers of iBook focused on children’s book because they believe that they can have additional source of income because of thousand children stories created. Some of children’s picture book stories published were “When Dinosaurs Came with Everything”, “Tippy-Tippy-Tippy, Hide” and “Tango Makes Three.” This iBook was not created just to brag about having a new stylish gadget in town but mainly because they want to catch every child’s interest and attention. In addition to the stories mentioned above, the publishers would also want to incorporate digital media into mobile devices so they collaborated with Disney Publishing to feature downloadable applications such as Winnie the Pooh, Disney princesses and characters from Toy Story which the children enjoyed reading while having fun at the same time.
